JUNIOR GIRLS
CEVA JUNIOR 17 & UNDER PLAYER ($65 FULL, $50 UPGRADE)
Allows for participation as a junior player in all USAV/RVA sanctioned events for the full season. Players who turn 18 during the season, or who are already 18, should NOT take this membership and should choose the 24-25 CEVA Junior 18s Player membership.
CEVA JUNIOR 18s PLAYER ($65 FULL, $50 UPGRADE)
Allows for participation in all junior USAV/RVA sanctioned events for the full season, for those players who are 18, or who are turning 18, prior to 8/31/2025. Participants must be SafeSport trained prior to participation. Players who are not 18 or turning 18 prior to 8/31/2025 should take the 24-25 CEVA Junior Player membership.
JUNIOR BOYS
CEVA JUNIOR BOY PLAYER ON BOYS TEAM - 17 & UNDER ($35)
Allows for participation as a junior player in all USAV/CEVA sanctioned events for boys participating ONLY on a boys' team for the full season. Boys who also participate on a girls' team must purchase the girls' team membership for $65.
CEVA JUNIOR BOYS PLAYER ON BOYS' TEAM - AGE 18 ($35)
Allows for participation in all junior USAV/RVA sanctioned events for those MALE players who are 18, or who are turning 18, prior to 8/31/2025, for the full season. Participants must be SafeSport trained prior to participation. Players who are not 18 or turning 18 prior to 8/31/2025 should take the 24-25 CEVA Junior Boy Player on Boys Team membership.
CEVA JUNIOR BOYS' TEAM TRYOUT MEMBERSHIP - LATE SEASON ($15)
Allows for participation in late-season club team tryouts for boys playing on only boys' teams. Membership is not valid for participation in practices, tournaments, national championships, or qualifiers.
ADULT COACHES, OFFICIALS, & ADMINISTRATORS
CEVA ADULT COACH OF JUNIORS ($60)
Should be selected by all adult coaches of juniors, even if they are participating in other roles. Allows for participation in all USAV/RVA sanctioned events. The participant must successfully pass a background screen, be SafeSport trained and complete IMPACT prior to participation.
CEVA ADULT NON-COACHING CLUB DIRECTOR ($60)
Allows for participation in non-coach roles in all USAV/RVA sanctioned events. The participant must successfully pass a background screen and be SafeSport trained prior to participation. Coaches should choose the "coach" specific membership to be eligible.
CEVA LIMITED ADULT MEMBERSHIP ($45)
Allows for participation in non-coach roles in all USAV/RVA sanctioned events, and is ideal for officials, tournament directors, club Board members, chaperones, and team managers. The participant must successfully pass a background screen and be SafeSport trained prior to participation. Coaches should choose the "coach" specific membership to be eligible.
ADULT PLAYERS
These memberships are only for individuals who play in adult tournaments and have no other roles in CEVA, such as a coach, club director, or official. Adult players who already have a full-season membership (as a coach, official, or administrator) do not need to purchase an additional membership to participate in an adult tournament.
CEVA FULL-SEASON ADULT PLAYER MEMBERSHIP ($35)
Allows for participation as an adult player in all adult USAV sanctioned events. Not valid for junior players (including players who are 18) and not valid for coaches, officials, tournament directors, or club administrators.
CEVA ONE-EVENT ADULT PLAYER MEMBERSHIP ($15)
Allows for participation as an adult player in one USAV sanctioned adult tournament. Not valid for junior players (including players who are 18) and not valid for coaches, officials, tournament directors, or club administrators. Dates of participation must be entered at checkout.
CEVA COLLEGIATE PLAYER MEMBERSHIP ($18)
Allows for participation for college-aged players in USAV sanctioned adult tournaments, including PIVA tournaments, for the full season. Not valid for junior players (including players who are 18) and not valid for coaches, officials, tournament directors, or club administrators.
MEMBERSHIP POLICIES & REFUNDS
Memberships are non-refundable and separate from the dues you pay to a club. Refunds are not issued if an athlete doesn't make a team or due to modification/cancellation of a season. Read the full refund policy here. All participants at tryouts, practices, and tournaments must have a membership.
Athletes do not pay a club for their memberships. Club dues do not cover memberships. CEVA does not collect club dues - these are separate from a membership purchase. Curious where your membership fees go? Click here for a breakdown.
MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS
WHY BUY A TRYOUT MEMBERSHIP?
Junior players are strongly encouraged to purchase a tryout membership. Why? Simply put - because memberships are non-refundable, if the player doesn't make a team at tryouts, the family is only out $15, not the full $65. If the player makes a team, the $15 you spend for the tryout membership can be applied to the cost of the full-season membership (you'll only pay $50 to upgrade to a full-season membership from a tryout membership). All participants at tryouts must have a membership.
WHY DO I SEE TWO CHARGES ON MY CARD?
When you purchase a membership, you'll see two separate charges on your card and get two separate receipts. Part of the membership fee goes to CEVA, part goes to USA Volleyball. The two charges are showing those funds separated. You're not being charged twice for the same thing - the charges totaled together equal the total cost of the membership (less credit card processing fees). You are not paying anything to your club when you purchase a membership. Contact your club for details about club dues.
TURNING 18 BEFORE 8/31/25?
Junior players who are 18, or who turn 18 prior to 8/31/25 must complete Core Safesport Training prior to participation beyond tryouts. This is a USAV policy that CEVA must enforce. Make sure to take the "Junior Player - Safesport Required" membership.
BACKGROUND SCREENS
Background screens can take up to 10 days to clear. Submit them promptly. CEVA doesn't control the cost of screens, nor the speed of them. Fees for background screens are not paid to CEVA. Questions should be directed to NCSI's support center.
USAV Domestic Background Screening - $14.00. Required of all adults affiliated with junior programming. Valid through the end of the USAV season (August 31st).
International Background Screening - Prices Vary. Required of adults who lived outside the US for 6 months or more in the last 7 years. Cost of a domestic background screen may be added to the cost of the international screen. Valid through the end of the USAV season (August 31st). Canadian background screens are $75.00 + Domestic Screen.

MEMBERSHIP NOTE
The region only registers participants with USA Volleyball, meaning when you take a membership, you become a member of USAV and CEVA. This does not automatically associate you with a club, any other region, or any other governing body.
