TeamSnap is excited to be onsite at the CEVA Regional Championships on April 27th & 28th. TeamSnap Impact will be announcing the winners of the $1,000 grants, but also has an exciting opportunity for 100 participating coaches! TeamSnap & Baden have teamed up to give away 100 brand new volleyballs to the first 100 coaches to come visit the TeamSnap Booth. Make sure to go see them to take advantage of this opportunity.
FORMAT
START & END TIMES: Matches begin at 8:00 AM. Last matches are scheduled at 8:00 PM on Saturday and 6:00 PM on Sunday. The nature of large events is that some courts will run late.
GIRLS' FLIGHT 1 NOTE: Teams in Flight 1 (top 16 seeds) of all girls' age divisions will play in the AM wave on Saturday. Teams in Flight 1 who do not win their pool will have a 2:00 PM assignment - either working or playing - in a crossover match. Check out with the information desk prior to departing the facility. Missed work or playing assignments result in a monetary fine to the club. Read the full Flight 1 format here.
MATCH FORMAT: All matches are best of 3 (25/25/15).
SIDE SWITCHING: Teams will not switch sides during matches. Teams may choose serve or side at the opening coin flip.
ROSTERS
There is no roster freeze in place and players are permitted to participate on both weekends of Regionals, per the policies in the CEVA Junior Girls' Handbook.
Teams are required to turn in a printed copy of their SportsEngine "Season Management" roster to the official on their court prior to their first match on Saturday only.
Clubs do not need to put a roster into AES.
WORK TEAMS
Teams assigned to work a match must provide a rostered adult to serve as the R2, two line judges, and a table crew. An R1 will be provided on all matches. Juniors may not serve as the R2 in this event unless they've received explicit authorization from the tournament's head officials.
WARM-UPS
Warm-ups for the first two rounds of either wave are 5-4-4. All warm-ups after the first two rounds are 2-4-4.
