BEAVERTON, OR (1/2/2025) – CEVA has announced plans to create two all-star teams – one for girls, one for boys – and compete in the 2025 USAV All-Star Championships in Madison, WI.

The USAV All-Star Championships is a region-owned and operated event that brings high caliber talent from several USAV regions & international federations together for four days of competition.  The event gives our region a chance to showcase some of our highest-level talent against the best from other areas of the country.  For the first time in well over a decade, CEVA will be offering our talented athletes the chance to stay home instead of having to travel to a neighboring region to participate.  This will lessen the burden on families, lower the financial commitment required, and make more logistical sense.

CEVA’s plan is to create one U15 girls’ team, and one U15 boys’ team in the first year of the program.  The tournament operates on FIVB age definitions – meaning players born in 2010 and 2011 (or later) are eligible to participate in 2025.  Eventually, the goal is to build more teams and create a sustainable, budget-friendly program that gives athletes from across CEVA the opportunity and ability to compete at this event.

CEVA’s goal is to create a collegiate-style atmosphere for teams and players.  Players will have the opportunity to interact with high-level coaches whose goal is to prepare them for the next level of play should they desire.  While some coaches may have affiliations with clubs, many of the coaches involved in the program will not.  Teams will travel together, room together, take part in team activities together, and practice together.  They will have minimal interactions with individuals or groups outside the team bubble.

The 2025 USAV All-Star Championships will be held July 24-27 in Madison, WI.  More information will be announced in the coming weeks on our website.
