BEAVERTON, OR (11/15/2024) – CEVA will be launching the region’s second annual Giving Tuesday campaign, centered around the national “Giving Tuesday” date of December 3. Our goal is to raise $10,000 this year on Giving Tuesday. Learn more about our campaign here.
All donations that are given as part of the campaign will go toward the CEVA Athlete Success Fund (CASF). No funds are taken out of donations for administrative or overhead costs.
The CASF is an in-house scholarship program, administered by the region, that helps student-athletes with their club dues. Last year, the CASF awarded $55,200 in financial aid to student-athletes in need – nearly double the previous year’s total and a record high for the region.
We anticipate exceeding that amount this year. Despite that, the region still had to turn away several worthy applicants last season, and likely will need to do the same this year. It is imperative that we keep growing the fund so we can provide opportunity and access for all that want to play our sport. Donations go a long way toward making that vision a reality.
All donations to the region are tax-deductible and donors will be sent a receipt. Donors who give over $100 will receive a gift from CEVA as thanks for their generosity.
Giving Tuesday is one of two major fundraisers the region conducts each year – the other is our silent auction & raffle at the Regional Championships.
