HOLYOKE, MA (10/21/2024) – The International Volleyball Hall of Fame inducted 9 new members during their annual induction ceremony on Saturday, October 19 in Holyoke, MA. In addition to the 9 inductees, 7 individuals were presented special awards by the Hall.

Hadi Rezaei (Iran) - ParaVolley Coach
Juan Angel Pereyra (Argentina) - Referee
Sue Lemaire (USA) – Referee

Each year, CEVA is pleased to send a delegation to the induction ceremonies in Holyoke to not only represent the region, but to help represent USA Volleyball as the host federation for the event. Several other regions also send delegations for the weekend, which includes not only the induction ceremony on Saturday, but a VIP Mayor’s Reception on Friday – a closed-door gathering for the inductees, their families, and invited guests – and several other activities for the inductees.
Holyoke is the birthplace of volleyball, where it was invented in 1895 by William Morgan. With the Class of 2024, the International Volleyball Hall of Fame now includes 176 members.
