BEAVERTON, OR (8/21/2024) – The CEVA and Evergreen Regions are continuing their support and alignment with the Western Boys Power League (WBPL) in the 2024-2025 season, keeping the most competitive and popular boys’ tournaments in the Pacific NW under USA Volleyball’s umbrella.

The regions will continue to provide logistical and administrative support prior to, and during, all WBPL events.  The regions and their staff will help oversee registration, tournament formatting, AES building, and website presence.

The partnership between the two regions and the WBPL enters its second season after a successful first season, which saw continued growth of the events and more exposure to the boys’ game in the Pacific NW.  The Portland stop had 46 teams in 2024, while the Mercer Island tournament had 75.  The season-ending Border Smackdown, held in Spokane, had 80 teams competing.  In total, 98 different boys’ teams participated in the WBPL’s signature events.

Registration for all WBPL tournaments opens on October 1 at 9:00 AM via AES.  Other region-based single-day events and more WBPL events will be announced in the future.  More information can be found on the WBPL website – www.boyswbpl.org.
