CEVA is proud to be the leading volleyball organization in the Pacific NW, and we are proud of everything that you - our members - have helped us achieve in the last year.  Our region will continue to provide the safest, most organized, and highest quality volleyball events while also focusing on increasing access for all, reinvesting back into our community, maintaining high customer service standards, and helping participants break down barriers to participation.

The 2023-2024 season was an incredibly successful year for our region.  Below are just some of the accomplishments and milestones we hit last year.

We look forward to serving you in the 2024-2025 season and beyond!

In the 2023-2024 season, our region...

  • Served over 10,000 members for the first time ever – reaching 11,611 unique members as of June 30 – and remained the largest USAV region in the Pacific NW.
  • Ran the largest Girls’ Power League in the region’s history – 528 teams.
  • Ran the first Boys’ Bid Tournament and, for the first time, distributed region-owned bids to USAV Boys’ Junior National Championships.
  • Ran the largest CEVA Regional Championships in history – 452 teams – the largest combined stand-alone indoor tournament in the region last year.
  • Fully supported and integrated with the Western Boys’ Power League, bringing the most competitive boys’ circuit in the PNW under the USAV umbrella for the first time.
  • Ran five free sitting volleyball clinics to serve para-athletes in the region, in partnership with Adaptive Sports NW – the only volleyball entity in CEVA to run such programming.
  • Distributed $55,200 in scholarship funds – the most ever by our scholarship program.
  • Distributed over $14,000 of equipment to schools, community groups, and clubs free of charge.
  • Saw a boys’ team win what is believed to be the region’s first ever USAV boys’ national championship, and saw a girls' team compete for a GJNC national championship for the second consecutive year - further demonstrating the competitive level of CEVA-owned USAV-sanctioned events.
  • Sent 42 teams to USAV national championship events, a number believed to be the most in our region’s history.
  • Sponsored a recipient of the AVCA Diversity Awards Program for the first time and provided a $1,350 grant to help with expenses associated with attending the AVCA Convention.
  • Ran a stand-alone tournament in Medford and hosted a Power League on the Oregon Coast for the first time – bringing localized programming to underserved areas.
  • Became the first USAV region to partner with Officially Human, to promote respect of officials and the create of a positive atmosphere at tournaments.  USAV is the only volleyball governing body with any affiliation with Officially Human.
