The Columbia Empire Volleyball Association (CEVA) recently partnered with Adaptive Sports NW (ASNW) to run a second sitting volleyball clinic in Vancouver.  The clinic on March 10th drew approximately 24 participants for 90 minutes of practice and play.

The clinic was the second of a season-long initiative between the two organizations to bring more awareness and opportunities surrounding sitting volleyball.  The first clinic, held in February, drew 20 participants.

The two organizations are working on finalizing details surrounding a third clinic in mid-to-late April, and also investigating the possibility of having a sitting volleyball court at the CEVA Regional Championships.  Stay tuned to the region website for more information.

The region thanks Adaptive Sports NW for their continued partnership and support, and thanks Axiom Volleyball Club for their collaboration on using Cascade Middle School in Vancouver.   Finally, thanks to Kyle Homeyer for facilitating the clinic.
