Ashley Waggoner Named CEVA Director of Operations

Ashley Waggoner has been named CEVA’s new Director of Operations.  She officially starts her duties on January 9 and will oversee several facets of the region’s programming and administrative functions.

Waggoner grew up in Alaska and competed for Midnight Sun Volleyball Club as a junior player.  She played collegiate volleyball at North Texas University and earned her bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management in 2008.  In 2015, she earned her Master’s in Higher Education, Intercollegiate Athletics Administration from the University of Oklahoma. 

She comes to CEVA after a four-year stint with On Location/PRIMESPORT where she worked as a Senior Event Manager.  In her role, she was charged with coordinating complex travel and hospitality logistics for major events, including the Super Bowl, NFL International, The Masters, Kentucky Derby, NCAA Final Four, and more.  She had extensive supervisory responsibilities with independent contractors and vendors and managed major event budgets. 

Before PRIMESPORT, Waggoner served as Assistant Director of Hospitality in the athletics department at the University of Oklahoma.  She oversaw premium seating hospitality management, customer service, and communications with donors for football, basketball, and baseball.  She supervised 75 game-day staffers and provided service for over 3,000 club members. 

Waggoner’s volleyball background includes coaching stints in CEVA, the Oklahoma Region, and Lone Star Region of USA Volleyball.  She is the current Head Coach & Program Director at Beaverton High School and will continue those duties in addition to her work with CEVA. 

In her free time, Waggoner enjoys exploring the Oregon Coast and antique treasure hunting.  She and her husband, Josh Keller, have a son, Henry, and a daughter, Poppy.
