CEVA has renewed a partnership with the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), which will provide educational material, access to the AVCA Convention, and other benefits to the region and its membership. 

The AVCA has deep and long-standing connections with collegiate coaches, and now extends many of the same benefits college coaches enjoy down to regions, clubs, and youth coaches.  80% of college coaches are members of the AVCA. 

As part of the partnership, the AVCA will provide to CEVA recruiting tips to be shared with members, college coaching panels for both men and women, and free AVCA memberships.  It also helps to provide access to the annual AVCA Convention for region staff and coaches who wish to attend.  With the help of this partnership, CEVA has created a grant program to allow coaches to attend the convention, with an emphasis on coaches who serve & come from underrepresented or underserved communities.

Additionally, CEVA clubs will have the opportunity to join the AVCA with an Organizational Membership.  Individual coaches and club directors can also join the AVCA.  Read more about membership options on the AVCA’s website.  When asked, members should list “CEVA” as their referral source.

CEVA and the AVCA first partnered in 2019.
