CEVA Seeks USAV Junior Assembly Rep

CEVA is seeking a current or recent club director, coach, or administrator to serve a four-year term as a representative to the USA Volleyball Junior Assembly.

USAV’s governance structure has been updated by their Board of Directors to meet the changing needs of the business.  Three assemblies make up a large part of the overall governance, and one of the assemblies – the USAV Junior Assembly (“JA”) – will be made up of representatives from the forty USAV regions.  Each region will have one rep on the JA.

The purpose of the JA is to give voice to stakeholders in the juniors’ game.  Members will bring perspectives of juniors’ clubs to the national decision-making process, representing all clubs, disciplines, and genders to the best of their ability.

CEVA will be using a diplomatic nominating & selection process to appoint a representative to the JA.  This represents a chance for somebody from our region to bring CEVA’s voice to the national stage.  See a full description of the position on this website.

Nominations for the JA position will open on Thursday, September 1 at 9:00 AM.  They are due by 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 15.

We strongly encourage anybody with current or recent experience as a club director, club administrator, or club coach to apply for this position.  It is a fantastic opportunity to be part of USAV’s larger governance and represent our region on the national level.  You’ll meet other assembly members from across the country, as well as collaborate closely with the CEVA staff and standing committees.

Questions may be directed to CEVA Executive Director Cody March – cody@cevaregion.org
