Two new members will join the CEVA Board of Directors this Summer, while one more has been re-elected for a second term.

Tia Khachitphet, a coach from Southern Oregon involved with both Spiketown Volleyball Club and Ashland Volleyball Club, has been elected to a two-year term as the Geographic Representative.  She is a licensed clinical social worker who has board experience from her time as a student government worker during her undergraduate work.  She was a recipient of a grant from CEVA to attend the AVCA Convention in 2021.  She’ll be tasked with developing initiatives and programming ideas for outlying parts of the region.

Tom McKeen, a coach with AJAX and Athena, has been elected to a two-year term as the Junior Boys’ Representative.  He brings a wealth of coaching and administrative experience, including currently serving as an athletic director with CYO.  He takes the reigns of the Junior Boys’ Committee and will assist the region with continued growth and development initiatives for boys throughout the region.

Lindsey Gay has been re-elected to a second two-year term as the Adult Representative.  She has spearheaded several new initiatives in the adult volleyball world, with many more in the works for the 2022-2023 season.  She’s also served as the Vice President of the Board for the last year and is a strong proponent of driving change within the board to be more goal- and action-oriented.

The CEVA Board of Directors meets 6-7 times per fiscal year, starting with their first meeting usually in late July or early August.  Meeting dates are posted on the CEVA website and are open to the public.
