The CEVA region has announced tentative Power League dates for the 2021-2022 season, which include an added tournament for the 16s division.

While dates are still considered tentative, this schedule was discussed and approved by the CEVA Junior Girls’ Committee at their meeting on July 14th.  Dates may change as more qualifiers and other external events announce their schedules.

The schedule sees a return to a normal cadence of events, with tournaments starting in January and running through Regionals at the beginning of May.  Formatting will return to how it was in the 2019-2020 season, with traditional pool play and a shorter afternoon.

The 16s division will see the addition of a second Power League Qualifier.  The 16s have historically been our second largest age division, and the additional qualifier gives teams more room to move in the seeding leading into regular Power League competition.

Regionals will run on the weekends of April 23-24 and April 30-May 1 at the Portland Expo Center.  Age groups assigned to specific weekends will be announced at a later date.

Additionally, Bid Tournament dates will be announced as we get closer to the season.  We anticipate them being in late February or early March.

Memberships for the 2021-2022 season will be available on the CEVA website beginning September 1st, and all clubs will receive activation materials electronically on that same date.  Tryouts for indoor junior girls’ clubs have been set for November 7th (14 and under) and November 21st (15 and older).
