CEVA will be making up the 16s & 18s Power League dates that were postponed on the weekend of May 1-2 by adding events on the weekend of May 22-23.

The regularly-scheduled 16s Power League on May 22nd will still be played and will become Power League #1.  The 16s will play Power League #2 on May 23rd as a makeup date.

The 18s will play their Power League #1 on May 22nd, as a makeup date, and their regularly-scheduled Power League #2 will be played on May 23rd.

CEVA is aware of some teams having conflicts with qualifiers or other events who will be missing this weekend.  Those teams will not be financially penalized.  This weekend was chosen to make dates up as an alternative to Memorial Day weekend, which would have represented the only other viable scheduling option.

Schedules and playing locations for the May 22nd Power Leagues will be posted by Tuesday, May 18th at 3:00 PM on AES.  All facilities will be in the Willamette Valley (Eugene to Yamhill).

At the same time, playing locations for May 23rd will also be posted on Tuesday.  The CEVA office will do everything possible to keep teams in the same geographic location and in the same waves on Saturday and Sunday (though this is not completely guaranteed).  Once pools are finished in AES on Saturday during competition, team information will automatically flow into Sunday’s schedule and will generate playing locations immediately.

NOTE:  CEVA is aware of the updated guidance from the CDC pertaining to mask wearing.  Until further notice, at CEVA Power Leagues, mask mandates will continue to remain and masks will be required for all participants in facilities.  The region does not have the resources or manpower to verify vaccination status of participants, nor to enforce a modified policy, at this time.
