CEVA has made the decision to postpone the first two weeks of the junior girls’ Power League season, as well as the first stop of the NW Boys Tour.

The events impacted by this postponement are:

Girls 16s Power League Qualifier, scheduled on 1/3/2021
Girls 18s Power League Qualifier, scheduled on 1/10/2021
NW Boys Tour Stop #1, scheduled on 1/16/2021

The two girls’ tournaments will be tentatively rescheduled for the weekend of May 15-16, 2021.  The NWBT event will be rescheduled at a later date, to be determined.

CEVA will be extending the registration deadline for 16s/18s Power League to 5:00 PM on Wednesday, January 6th.  Clubs who have already registered are welcome to modify their registrations by simply e-mailing region@cevaregion.org.

Practices scheduled by clubs at the Portland Expo Center on December 22nd and 29th will also be cancelled.  Clubs interested in renting space at PEC in January should watch for a communication from the CEVA office in the next week.

CEVA is aware of the potential conflict with the Northern Lights Qualifier and other events on May 15-16.  Teams who are currently scheduled to attend NLQ should reference Section 6.8.2 in the Junior Girls’ Handbook, and note that there will be flexibility with the deadline date listed in that document.

The 16s and 18s Power League tournaments scheduled on 1/24 and 1/31 remain on the calendar as scheduled at this time.  Those events would now be formatted as the Power League Qualifiers.  Any decisions on postponement for these events would not be made until early January.
