The steps below must be completed for clubs to be active in the CEVA Region.  Active clubs are eligible to apply for certificates of insurance, have their tryout information posted on our website, apply for Blue Ribbon Club status, and register for CEVA-owned tournaments.  An application for the Blue Ribbon program will be included in your activation documents.

There is not a "deadline" to activate a club in our region.  But you'll need to be conscious of event sign-up dates, etc.  Only active clubs can register for our events.

Remember:  Background screens can take 7-10 business days to fully clear. 

On August 2nd, memberships for the upcoming season will become available via our website.  The Club Director's Handbook will be distributed to all clubs, and the A&A Form will be distributed to club directors electronically via DocuSign.  If you are a returning club but didn't receive a handbook or A/A Form electronically, e-mail

1 – Club director must have a valid membership for the 2022-2023 season.
2 – Club director must have a completed and cleared background screen on their membership.  Remember that background screens are now an annual process.
3 – Club director must have a completed Safesport certification on their membership.
4 – Club director reviews the Club Directors' Handbook signs the Acknowledgement & Agreement Form (A&A Form) electronically on DocuSign.  A copy of the handbook (without signature pages) can be found on the Documents page. 
5 – Club must have no outstanding financial balances with the region. 

Once the above steps are all completed, the club will be active for the 2022-2023 season. 


Once your club is active, you may complete a Tryout Information Form and submit information to the CEVA office to be posted on our website.  Only active clubs may complete this step.  The Tryout Information Form can be found under the "Coaches" tab on the website.


Clubs who have completed their activation requirements will be eligible to register for CEVA-owned tournaments, such as our preseason events, Power League, Presidents Day, the Bid Tournaments, and Regionals (when tournament registration opens).  Clubs who are inactive will not be able to register for these events.

Clubs must activate to request sanctioning for a club-hosted tournament.


We have put together a junior club checklist (see below) to consider and develop as a part of your new business - these aren't requirements, but considerations for you.  Once you're ready, please complete the form below to submit basic information about your club to our office and to SportsEngine.  We will be in contact with you once you submit this form to get more information.  Submission of this form should only be done for a brand new club in the CEVA region and should be only done by a club director or administrator.  This form can be submitted at any time.  After submitting this form, you can start working on the initial steps outlined on the left side of this page.
