CEVA ALL-STAR PROGRAM

CEVA ALL-STAR PROGRAM TO LAUNCH IN 2025

Two teams will travel to Madison, WI in July to take on the best talent from the other regions of USA Volleyball

WHAT IS THE CEVA ALL-STAR PROGRAM?

The USA Volleyball All Star Championship is an annual event (typically held in mid-to-late July) that brings all-star teams from the 40 USAV regions and international federations together for competition.  In 2023, 20 regions participated and a total of 90 teams were entered in the tournament combined.  In 2024, the same number of regions and approximately the same number of teams competed.  The 2025 event, which will be held in Madison, WI on July 24-27, is anticipating over 100 teams.

AGE GROUPS

In 2025, CEVA will be fielding two teams - one girls' team, and one boys' team.  Both teams will compete in the U15 age groupPlayers born in 2010, 2011, or later are eligible to try out and compete with these teams.

Important - the USAV All-Star Championships is an international event and operates on FIVB age definitions, which are based on a player's year of birth.  This is different than USA Volleyball age definitions.

OUR VISION

CEVA's vision for this program is multi-faceted:

  • Create a collegiate-like experience where players are exposed to high-level coaches and an atmosphere similar to that of a college volleyball program.
  • Create a program that allows athletes to compete for their home region instead of having to travel to a neighboring region, thereby reducing financial commitments, traveling, and stress.
  • Create a program that is organized, well-run, and highly structured.
  • Build the program to expand to other age groups in the future.
