CEVA has announced that junior clubs in the region may begin the process of activation for the 2022-2023 season on Tuesday, August 2.  This is a month earlier than past seasons, allowing administrators more time to plan.  This also allows those with school coaching obligations to complete the process before their season starts.

On August 2, memberships for adult participants – including club directors, coaches, and administrators – will be available for purchase via the CEVA website.  Membership prices for these participants did not change from last year.

All club directors from last season, as well as those who have indicated a desire to start a club this season, will be sent the CEVA Club Directors’ Handbook via DocuSign.  Directors must read the handbook and sign an acknowledgement form.  A copy of the handbook will also be available on the CEVA website.

At the time of membership purchase, participants will receive instructions via e-mail to complete eligibility requirements, including their annual background screen and Safesport certification.  Background screens can take 7-10 days to clear particularly as the season approaches.  Do not wait to complete these requirements.

Clubs must be active, and club directors must be fully eligible, for tryout & parent meeting information to be posted on our website, for clubs to register for CEVA-owned tournaments, and to request a certificate of insurance.

Memberships for junior players – including season-long and tryout memberships – will be available on September 1. 

Tryouts for the 2022-2023 season begin for boys’ teams on October 1.  Junior girls ages 14 and under may begin tryouts on November 6.  Junior girls ages 15 and older may begin tryouts on November 13.
